Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Sama Photo (samaphoto.app), run by [owner or business name], referred to here as "we". By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. The service

Sama Photo is a photo editing tool that runs inside your browser. It includes editing, filters, anime and art styles, background removal, sticker making, Arabic and English typography, and turning photos into video and GIF. All processing happens on your device, and your photos are not uploaded to us.

We may add, change or remove features at any time, and may offer some features in paid plans in the future.

2. Your photos and your rights

• You keep all rights to the photos you open and the results you create. We claim no rights to them and never receive a copy.
• You may use your results however you like, including commercially, as long as you follow these terms and respect the rights of others.
• Because we don't store your photos, you are responsible for saving copies of your work. Anything you haven't downloaded is erased when you close or refresh the page, and we cannot recover it.

3. Acceptable use

You must own the rights to any photo you edit, or have permission from its owner. If other people appear in it, you must get their consent where the law requires it. You may not use Sama Photo for:

• Any activity that breaks the laws that apply to you.
• Editing photos of people to defame, abuse, blackmail or harass them.
• Impersonating anyone, or creating misleading images presented as real, such as forged documents.
• Any sexual content involving minors, or any sexual content of a person without their consent.
• Infringing other people's intellectual property or trademarks.

Because processing happens on your device, we don't see what you create. You alone are responsible for your content and for how you use and publish the results.

4. AI results

The anime, subject detection and background removal features rely on AI models, and their results may be inaccurate or different from what you expect. For example, part of a person may be cut off or facial features may change. Review results before publishing or using them. We don't guarantee that a result is unique; other users may get similar results from similar photos.

5. Our intellectual property

• The Sama Photo name, logo, site design and code belong to us. They may not be copied or republished without written permission.
• The site uses open-source components and fonts, each under the license listed on the Licenses page.
• You may use the fonts available in Sama Photo inside the images you create, including commercially. You may not extract the font files from the site to sell them on their own.

6. Pro subscription

The free version includes the editing tools, filters, fonts and invitation generator. Pro unlocks the AI features, video and GIF export without a watermark, and every future feature.

• Plans: monthly and yearly, which renew automatically until you cancel, and lifetime, a one-time payment that includes updates for as long as the service runs.
• Prices and features are shown before purchase, and payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as the official seller.
• You can cancel anytime from the management link in your purchase email; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
• Your license key is personal and works on a limited number of devices. It may not be shared or sold.
• Refund policy: [example: full refund within 7 days of your first subscription if you haven't used the service].

This does not affect any rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.

7. Disclaimer

Sama Photo is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running well, but we don't guarantee it will be free of errors or interruptions, or that it will work on every device and browser. AI feature performance depends on your device.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, such as lost unsaved work or lost profits, arising from using or being unable to use the site. In any case, our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or, if you paid us nothing, QAR 100. This section does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Ending use

We may block access to the site for anyone who breaks these terms or tries to disrupt or abuse the site. You may stop using the site at any time.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Doha have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, unless consumer protection law where you live provides otherwise.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will change the "Last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms. If a change is significant, we will show a clear notice on the site.
